The 1.4 TSi was a leap forward in technology providing both a supercharger and turbocharger to provide solid linear power. The emphasis on these is smooth, solid power delivery which we have achieved to an even greater level than standard. With the supercharger working from tick over it pulls solidly up to 4,000rpm where the electro pneumatic clutch disengages it allowing the turbo to provide full power to the red line? once tuned these are very quick motors! The transition from supercharger to turbocharger is now virtually seamless! We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
