The Transporter T5 84bhp variant is a factory detuned version of the 102bhp model, this enables us to provide 102bhp and 249Nm as a stage 1 remap for those who want factory standard specs or 160bhp and 336Nm for those wanting the best from their engine. The TDi engine fitted to the T5 is almost identical to that fitted to the MKV Golf but with a different turbo fitted, therefore power gains can be huge with the addition of an uprated turbo. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.
